North Dakota Valley City ND ND Badlands Jackson Hole Lake Tahoe Wyoming Yellowstone South Dakota Oregon Idaho (Craters of the Moon) 2 1 2 Craters is a truly unique place to visit and photograph. It's formed by volcanos and seems to go on forever with volcanic rocks. I got there in the morning after a frost, and the backlit terrain made it clear as where it's name came from. It seemed as if I was on another planet, or the moon, while taking these shots. This is a strange landscape, and the area is considered so lunar-like American astronauts have actually been trained at this site |
